Alright , Andrew and I have decided to use this to communicate with everyone at once , as opposed to sending out 47 different e-mails a day!
Today is the day Elijah is having heart surgery.For all of you that don't know , he had his stomach surgery yesterday and is now in the PICU( Prenatal intensive care unit) He came out of surgery well.He's on a ventilator as his air way was hard to intabate due to a small airway. Andrew and I are both tired , little to much going on and sleep just would not seem to come easily.
We called the PICU this morning to try and find out when surgery would be and they still do not have a time. I was told however that over night his hemoglobin dropped and he ended up needing a blood transfusion. Our poor little guy is going through so much right now. The great thing is we have such an amazing support team , if it wasn't for all our family and friends i don't know how Andrew and i would make it through this. As soon as we know when sugery is ( if i can) i will let everyone know. I do not have time to send anything out about updating the blog so check frequently if you want updates.
